Parivaar : Looking Back at 2022

As 2022 comes to a close, we present in brief the salient points of our work during the year :
1. We started a new residential campus in Sehore district for girls from tribal pockets of 7 districts of MP (the construction of this campus was going on for more than 3 years). The capacity of this is around 139.
2. Our residential institution for boys in Dewas district (which also started in December last year) has scaled to 590 boys. This campus has boys from tribal pockets of 8 districts of MP.
3. The two residential campuses in District 24 Parganas (South) in West Bengal continue to function strongly with about 1500 resident children.
4. Additionally, the two hostels (one each for boys and girls) continue to run in Mandla for a total of 190 children.
5. The number of our Seva Kutirs (meals and supplementary education program) in interior tribal villages increased from 621 villages in 14 districts to 679 villages in 15 districts. They cater to nearly 60 thousand children around half of which are girls.
6. In our Vision Restoration Program (Parivaar Shravan Kumar Prakalpa) more than 1600 camps were held during the year (till 24th Dec). The number of patients served with general examination, medicines and spectacles in these camps is 2.04 Lac. The number of surgeries conducted during the aforesaid duration has been 21,518.
7. The total number of Ambulances functioning in impoverished tribal and other dispossessed blocks has been 133 in 25 districts (24*7 service). Out of this 50 were launched during this year. They have catered to more than 1.28 Lac patients during the year.
8. In this year, 18 Mobile Clinics served in impoverished tribal pockets of 12 districts. Out of this 6 were launched during this year. The number of patients served under this service in the year has been 4.34 Lacs.
The number of Sevavratees Parivaar has in all as on date is 4305. Out of this 1098 joined during this year.
