Our experience of working in remote and impoverished tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh has highlighted the dismal conditions of people suffering from various diseases or disabilities. Due to poverty, lack of access to hospitals and doctors, they suffer from ailments without getting the desired treatment. Therefore, we have started full day Mobile Medical Clinic service in the villages. We employ a qualified doctor who visits 4-5 villages daily and examines around 100-150 patients. Free medicines are also provided to the patients. Those patients who are referred to Block or District Level Hospitals, because of serious ailments, are also taken there by us through our ambulances for treatment

This project was started in June’21 and since then Parivaar has provided free medical care to more than 26 Lac people. In a fortnightly cycle, at present, we are serving 2910 tribal villages in 24 districts through 55 such MMCs. At the present rate, these clinics are cumulatively serving 6 thousand patients every day.

The per person cost is about Rs. 64, which includes fuel cost, manpower costs, medical consultation, and medicines.
