We are delighted to share that we have reached a very significant milestone in Parivaar’s journey. The Seva Kutir program (supplementary education and nutrition) that we started on an experimental basis in 2 villages in 2017, and which really took off from 2018, has now crossed 1000 villages. These centres are in some of the remotest, impoverished, and accessibility-challenged tribal hamlets. 957 of these centres are in 21 districts of Madhya Pradesh, and 45 in one district each in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
Around 70 thousand children (from pre-schooling till Grade 8) are served through this program. It has shown remarkable outcomes both educationally and health-wise in these children, making them fit for higher education.
Besides this, Parivaar runs several other major field programs and institutions serving Lacs of persons from neediest segments (socio-economically last 2 percentile) of our country.
With the ethos and guiding spirit of selfless service which is possible through involvement and support of large number of our Sevavratees, supporters, and wellwishers, and the inspiration and empathy to go beyond oneself, which we are convinced is the common divine property and dimension in all of us, we will continue to surge ahead till our bodies and minds remain functional.
