High Achievers from Parivaar at National Level in Basketball.
Amir Hembram, one of the the best talents among all the basketball players of Parivaar till now, belonging from a remote village of Jhargram was selected for the 48th Sub Junior Basketball Championship held at Puducherry in August 2023.
• Ashok Sardar, belonging from a remote Islands of Sundarbans was also selected for the 48th Sub Junior Basketball Championship held at Puducherry in August 2023.
• Baisakhi Mardi , a girl from the remote village of Birbhum district of West Bengal was selected to represent the State Basketball team (u-14 category) in the School National Championship which was held in Barmer, Rajasthan in January 2024.
• Mukunda Sardar, a boy from the islands of Sundarbans, West Bengal also confirmed his selection in the State Basketball team (u-14 category) following his performance in the District Championship. He went on to represented West Bengal in the School National Championship which was held in Rajnandgaon , Chhattisgarh in January 2024.
• Subha Kotal, a boy from the district of Jhargram was selected to represent West Bengal (u-19 category) in the School National Championship organized in Chandigarh, Punjab in January 2024 after his excellent performance at the district level .
• Lalita Singh, another promising basketball player from the remote areas of Jharkhand was selected to represent West Bengal in the 73th Junior National Basketball Championship in Bhubaneswar organized by Basketball Federation Of India and Odisha Basketball Association in February 2024.
She had also been selected to represent West Bengal Basket Ball team in the 74th Junior National Basketball Championship in Indore in the month of May 2024.
• Laxmimoni Mandi, belonging from a remote village of Jhargram was selected in the 38th Youth(U-16) National Basketball Championship which was help at Puducherry in April 2024.
A total of 7 children (3 girls and 4 boys) have represented West Bengal in national level basketball Championships. Baisakhi Mardi. Subha Kotal & Mukunda Sardar went for School Nationals and the rest went for State Nationals.
