Parivaar : Looking Back at 2022

As 2022 comes to a close, we present in brief the salient points of our work during the year :1. We started a new residential campus in Sehore district for girls from tribal pockets of 7 districts of MP (the construction of this campus was going on for more than 3 years). 18 Daily Mobile Clinics (with 18 doctors on rounds) in operation in highly impoverished tribal areas in 11 districts of MP.

Our experience of working in remote and extremely poverty-stricken tribal villages in Madhya Pradesh highlighted before s the dismal conditions of people suffering with various diseases or disabilities. Due to poverty and lack of access to good hospitals and doctors, they suffer from the sickness without getting the requred treatment. Therefore, from 2021 we started 18 Daily Mobile Clinics (with 18 doctors on rounds) in operation in highly impoverished tribal areas in 11 districts of MP.

Parivaar Wins Bengal Chamber of Commerce’s Award External

We are delighted to share that Parivaar has won the “Social Leadership Award 2022” in the Education category presented by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There were 4 categories (including Education in which we receives the honour) for which winners were selected out of a pool of 47 organisations. More than 500 guardians from Bankura and Purulia dustrics in West Bengal flock with their children to have their wards admitted in Parivaar residential institutions. Madhya Pradesh Gaurav  Samman Conferred on Parivaar

We are glad to inform that the MP state government has conferred “Madhya Pradesh Gaurav Samman” on Parivaar and the award was given by Hon. Governor and the Chief Minister on 7th November, 2022 for exceptional work in the field of health and nutrition.

Rigorous Fieldwork day and night by Parivaar Bengal team in scores of villages in Jhargram district in West Bengal for identifying new children to be admitted in our Bengal residential institutions and other field-based engagements. In a short length of time of 7 months we could start 2 residential institutions – one for boys, another for girls in MP, with a total of 720 children. We remember that our first residential institution in Bengal took 8 years to come to this level. We are grateful for all the support, wishes, we need your support

Do you recognise your father, mother, grandfather, grandmother in them?Around 16 months back, once the second wave of Covid had receded, we decided to roll out with full steam our Vision Program for Elderly Program called the Shravan Kumar Prakalpa. We are delighted that yesterday we completed 2000 eye camps. In these camps more than Do you recognise your father, mother, grandfather, grandmother in them?

We have inaugurated 15 more ambulances.

We have inaugurated 15 more ambulances. It makes the number of completely free (not a single penny accepted) 24*7*365 ambulances in poorest tribal areas to 141. Having covered all needy tribal blocks in Madhya Pradesh we shall now look for expanding this service in Chhatisgarh. We will start with northern Chattisgarh – districts of Surguja, We have inaugurated 15 more ambulances.
